Rufus

Rufus was recently described by his best friends as an Actor, Painter, Crimefighter and Lover of Men.

His acting roles include the thriller Spy Game and West End shows Journey’s End and Frost/Nixon. As a painter he creates iconic bespoke portraits of people and grand buildings, and as a Crimefighter he collects Community Trust Action Awards. He now has 7. Though a lover of good character in men, he prefers the company of his girlfriend, and lives with her in a shabby chic rookery overlooking Nelson’s Column.

Rufus’s favourite singer is Jeff Buckley, whom he saw play in a pub in 1994, the best gig he’s ever been to. He first met Stephen in 1995 at University, when they worked on an ill fated student revue for Edinburgh, and on student radio.

Hello Mr. Wright. I have listened to the show when it was available for me to download and have had no complaints. Through the show I was able to learn about Jolie Holland and also Jessie Sykes. I feel these two wonderful singers are a genuinely great additions to the list of my personal favs. I know the show ended last year around this time but seeing as I am living in China it takes a while to get decent sites through which I can download the past shows. Anyway, I have had a pretty rough 2010 so far. My dog ate some poison I didn’t see and my (ex) girlfriend accused me of doing it on purpose (also some other things which made it a forgettable year so far). If you could send me an autographed picture of yourself I think it would go a long way to making me feel better. I ask you simply because I feel you are more accepting and also accessible of these types of things. If you can I would appreciate it, I can be reached at “moberlye83@hotmail.com” if you can be bothered to reply.
